MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS
Effective in 2025, OAMSC revised its membership structure to provide more value to business members. OAMSC wants to increase the number of paid members of the organization, which, in turn, will mean more funding and resources for the community. Remember, the membership dues remain the same; however, the benefits to business members increase.
Dues are $50 for a basic annual business membership, which entitles you to the following benefits:

- A Business Spotlight in the newsletter, What’s New in Old Algiers, which reaches more than 800 local people every other week;
- A listing in the annual print and online community directory ($100 value);
- A short feature in our online directory (updated biannually), which is hosted on the Old Algiers Main Street Corporation website at www.oldalgiersmainstreet.org, Stay Local website and New Orleans & Company website, www.neworleansonline.com.
- Access to data not publicly available, through partnerships with our funders and the National Main Street Center;
- Free workshops and presentations that can enhance your success as a small business;
- First right of refusal for opportunities at OAMSC community events and half-price vendor fees to participate in markets, festivals and other events;
- First right of refusal for solicitation of goods and services that can be purchased from our members (if we need catering or printing or equipment repairs, we will ask members first);
- Networking opportunities at membership events;
- Low-cost co-op advertising opportunities in visitor print and online publications to attract new customers.
